Venus enters Taurus this Wednesday — FINALLY! ✨💅 You might be wondering, "Alysse, why are we starting an affirmation blog with a transit?" Well, because this is not just any ol' astrology moment — this is Venus coming home. 🏡💖 And we will absolutely be using that energy to shape our week!
Be excited, it's seriously amazing energy and great for intentions and manifesting.

Using astrology to help navigate through the weirdness of life? Uummm, YES, please!! 🌙
This shift is dreamy — think softness, sensuality, and a grounded kind of stability. Venus isn’t in a rush, and neither should you be. 🐢 (Seriously, THANK YOU to Venus for slowing things down, because I cannot stand being rushed — it’s the quickest way to ruin my day. Slow. It. Down. 😤🛑)
Taurus is ruled by Venus, so this is like a queen returning to her lush velvet throne — barefoot, glowing, and fully moisturized. 👑🌹
I hope that helps put this transit into perspective. Venus is in a joyful place—it’s the planet of pleasure, beauty, and fun! Think of this energy as light and playful, like returning to your childhood self. It’s a chance to say to your inner child, “Look at what we’ve done. You’d be so proud of us. I’m genuinely happy with how far we’ve come.”
Write down your accomplishments, big and small. If you can't think of anything, start small. It can be: I washed clothes today, dishes are done, I went for a walk. Then try to remember your bigger accomplishments: I graduated from college, I opened my own business, etc. Every step counts, and when you see it all in front of you, you'll realize just how far you've come.

Let's get started with our weekly affirmations. I'd love to hear which ones you resonated with the most and which ones you'll be using. You can use all of them, of course. Write them down, sticky notes on your bathroom mirror, say them aloud!
"I AM" Affirmations:
I found this amazing app called "I AM." It gives you daily affirmations. You can set it up with how often you want a new affirmation.
I chose 8 am-8 pm, and I get a new affirmation every few hours✨. The photos I'm using are actually short videos with music. You get to choose your background image and fill in what you want to work on within yourself. It then curates your affirmations.
This is spiritual work, when you sit down to read my blogs, write in your journal, use affirmations consistently, do any of the rituals I've come up with, and follow astrology. Being spiritual isn't rainbows 🌈 and sunshine ☀️. There's a lot of time and consistency that is applied. Through spiritual work, you become who you truly are and who you want to be, authentically yourself. 💕

They're soft reminders for when things get loud.💕
🔮 I AM Affirmations for This Week
I am protected.
I am grounded and supported.
I am releasing thoughts that are not mine.
I am allowing clarity to take up space.
I am choosing peace over pressure.
I am clearing what doesn’t belong to me.
I am listening to my body and my spirit.
Say them daily. Whisper them in the car or scream them at the top of your lungs. Personally, I like to yell affirmations; it feels like a release. Sure, you might look a little crazy at times if someone sees you, but around here we don't care what other people think—especially when we're affirming our lives😌.
Write them on sticky notes, scribble them in the margins of your planner, or chant them while stress-scrolling📱😬. This is how you can come back to yourself. Use the ones that resonate with you the most 💫

🤲 Place one hand on your heart, one on your altar (or crystal).🗣️
Say: “I am grounded. I am clear. I release what is not mine.”
🌬️ Breathe for 60 seconds.
No phone, no pressure.
💬 Perfect for Monday (Today!) mornings or any day that needs a soft reset.
2. Journaling & Crystal Moment
📖 Pick one affirmation from the list.
🔮 Grab a crystal (or even just a smooth rock ).
✍️ Write the affirmation down 3 times in your journal.
Ask yourself:
🧠 “Where in my body do I feel this today?”💫 “What does this affirmation want me to know?”
💬 Simple, grounding, and super Venus-in-Taurus approved.
3. Movement + Mantra
🎶 Put on some soft music or silence.
🧘♀️ Stretch slowly for 5 minutes while repeating:
“I am supported. I am safe. I am becoming.”
