Weekly Astrology Forecast: Clarity, Healing, and Bold New Beginnings (April 12–18)

Weekly astrology banner for April 12 to April 18 by Lighting the Path with tarot cards, stars, and purple crystals

I’m just going to say it straight: this week might feel a bit off at the start.

Like your energy is inconsistent, your emotions are doing their own thing, and you’re not fully sure what you’re supposed to be doing or focusing on. And honestly, with everything going on in the world right now, that feeling makes sense. There’s a lot happening, a lot being said, and not all of it feels grounded or clear.

So if you feel a little all over the place, you’re not behind. You’re just picking up on what’s already in the air.

The beginning of the week is not about having answers. It’s more about noticing what’s coming up without trying to fix it right away.

Then things start to shift. Your mind clears a bit, you start seeing things differently, and by the time we get to the New Moon, there’s this quiet push to just move forward.

Not perfectly. Just honestly.

Key Astrology Dates This Week

April 12: Mars Conjunct Neptune

Today might feel confusing, plain and simple.

You could wake up feeling like you want to get things done, and then suddenly lose all motivation. Or you might feel pulled toward something but not fully sure why.

This transit can make your energy feel scattered, and it doesn’t help that there’s already a lot going on around you. It’s hard to tell what actually matters and what’s just noise.

So instead of trying to push through it, just take a step back.

Not everything needs your reaction. Not everything deserves your energy today.

April 13: Venus Sextiles Jupiter and Moon Enters Pisces

This feels like a bit of relief.

Things soften, people feel a little easier to be around, and you might notice yourself wanting to connect more or just enjoy something simple.

It’s a good day to remind yourself that not everything has to be heavy all the time. Even with everything going on, you’re still allowed to feel good.

With the Moon in Pisces, your emotions are stronger though. You might feel more sensitive or more aware of what’s happening around you.

Just don’t let yourself get carried away with it. Feel it, but stay grounded.

April 14: Mercury Sextiles Uranus and Mercury Enters Aries

This is where things start to make more sense.

You might suddenly realize something that’s been confusing you, or just see a situation differently. It’s like your brain finally catches up.

Then Mercury moves into Aries, and you’ll probably feel more direct. Less patience for going in circles, more desire to just say what you mean.

You might notice this in other people too. Conversations could feel a little more blunt than usual.

Just try to be honest without being reactive.

April 16: Sun Conjunct Chiron, Mars Sextiles Pluto, and Mercury Conjunct Neptune

This day can hit a little deeper.

Old stuff might come up. Feelings you thought you were over, or situations that still carry some weight.

And with everything happening in the world, it can feel like a lot emotionally. Like your personal stuff and the collective energy are mixing together.

Just be gentle with yourself here.

At the same time, there’s strength in this. Mars and Pluto are working together, which means you’re actually more capable than you think of handling what comes up.

Then Mercury and Neptune can make communication a bit unclear again, so don’t jump to conclusions too quickly.

Take your time with things today.

April 17: New Moon in Aries and Moon Enters Taurus

This is the reset.

The New Moon in Aries is very straightforward. It’s asking you what you actually want.

Not what’s safe. Not what looks good. What you genuinely want for yourself.

And after everything earlier in the week, you might finally have a clearer answer.

You don’t need a perfect plan here. Just be honest with yourself about where you want to go next.

Then the Moon moves into Taurus, which helps you slow down and actually build something from that intention.

Start small. Keep it real. That’s enough.

April 18: Mercury Sextiles Pluto

This is a good day for real conversations.

You’re not really in the mood for surface-level anything. You want honesty, depth, and clarity.

If there’s something you’ve been needing to say or understand, this is a good time for it.

Just be open, but also listen. There’s a lot you can learn today if you’re actually paying attention.

Theme of the Week

This week is really about figuring out what’s actually yours and what isn’t.

There’s so much happening around you, in your personal life, online, in the world, and it’s easy to absorb all of it without realizing it.

But not everything you feel is yours to carry.

The beginning of the week helps you notice what’s been sitting under the surface. The middle helps you understand it. And the end gives you a chance to move forward in a way that feels more honest.

It’s not about having everything figured out.

It’s about being real with yourself about what matters.

Guidance

Take your time at the start of the week. You don’t need to rush into anything.

If something feels overwhelming, step back instead of forcing yourself through it.

Pay attention to what actually feels true for you, not just what everyone else is saying or doing.

And when the New Moon comes, don’t overcomplicate it.

Just choose a direction that feels right and take one step.

Crystal of the Week: Moonstone

Polished rainbow moonstone gemstones arranged on a wooden slice with soft blue iridescent flashes and greenery

Moonstone really makes sense for this week, especially with how up and down the energy feels at the start.

There’s a lot of emotional movement, a lot of intuitive hits, and moments where you might not fully trust what you’re feeling yet. Moonstone helps with that. It doesn’t force clarity, but it helps you stay connected to yourself while things are still unfolding.

It’s also really supportive when you’re going through transitions, which is exactly what this week is building toward with the New Moon. It helps you trust that even if things feel uncertain, you’re still moving in the right direction.

If you’ve been feeling sensitive, overwhelmed, or just a bit off, this is a good crystal to keep close. You can hold it when you’re journaling, keep it near your bed, or carry it with you during the day. Think of it as something that gently pulls you back to yourself when everything around you feels a bit too loud.

Tarot Card of the Week: The Fool

The Fool tarot card illustration featured as tarot card of the week showing a traveler at the edge of a cliff

The Fool is actually perfect for this week, especially with the New Moon in Aries.

This card is all about new beginnings, but not in a structured, perfectly planned way. It’s more like standing at the edge of something new and choosing to move forward even if you don’t have all the details figured out yet.

And that’s exactly what this week is leading into. You start off unsure, maybe even overwhelmed, but by the end there’s this quiet clarity. Not complete certainty, but enough to take that first step.

The Fool also reminds you not to overthink everything. You don’t need the perfect plan to begin. You don’t need full confidence either. You just need a willingness to try.

There’s also a lightness to this card that’s important. Not everything has to feel so serious all the time. You’re allowed to explore, to be curious, to figure things out as you go.

So if you’ve been feeling stuck or hesitant, this is your nudge. Just start. Small, messy, imperfect is still movement.

Affirmation

With this New Moon, it’s actually a really good time to get intentional about what you’re building next. If you’ve been wanting something to help you stay consistent with your intentions, my astrology planner is there for that. There are only a few left, so if it’s been on your mind, this might be the time.

Closing

This week isn’t about getting everything right.

It’s about slowing down, being honest with yourself, and then starting again from a place that actually feels real.

You’re allowed to take your time with it.

I’ll be here next week when things shift again.
