I have a theory that the moment one gives close attention to anything, even a blade of grass, it becomes a mysterious, awesome, indescribably magnificent world in itself. I have tried this experiment a thousand times and I have never been disappointed. The more I look at a thing, the more I see in it, and the more I see in it, the more I want to see. It is like peeling an onion. There is always another layer, and another, and another. And each layer is more beautiful than the last.This is the way I look at the world. I don't see it as a collection of objects, but as a vast and mysterious organism. I see the beauty in the smallest things, and I find wonder in the most ordinary events. I am always looking for the hidden meaning, the secret message. I am always trying to understand…

So last year when I moved near Austin, Texas I discovered that there are two free plant exchange coops near me. They are actually in people's front yards, stands made from old dressers and shelves. People bring something like a few pants, cutting, seeds, whatever...and take a few things. I was told there are stands all across Texas, not sure about other states. I always wanted to express my inner "hippie", lol...and have a "Free Store" where [people could essentially bring items and take items, free of charge. I first heard of the idea because there was a store like this in California during hippie era. Anyway, it's on the honor system but people take a picture of what they bring and what they take and post it on the coops Facebook page. I check it out everyday for fun. Green Onion I planted on the New Moon 🌑 quite literally planted seeds on the new moon and placed my manifestations underneath with my bestie Sidney!!

My red lettuce produces sooooo much I have harvested it multiple times. With all of my plants once I harvest I place them in mason jars and place in the fridge. It lasts FOREVER with that sealed air tight jar.

I, too, have been buying fresh eggs! About 6 dollars a dozen and SO Much better than store bought. Fun fact: If you wash them they only last 30 days, but DO wash them before cooking and make sure you ask seller of they have been washed. Unwashed they last up to 90 days.
