I created this space specifically for gardening! I recently started my own little victory garden, inspired by what my grandma used to call their gardens during tough times—like The Great Depression. Well... here we are again! 🙃😂

Times are tough, and I’m doing everything I can to be proactive. That means learning, growing, and getting my hands in the dirt. So, I’ll be the first to ask all the questions because, trust me, ya girl needs help with this garden!

You’ll be following my journey right alongside me, and hopefully, it will be helpful for anyone else who wants to start their own garden but doesn’t know where to begin.

I’m new to this but have a decent understanding of the basics—I’ve just never actually grown my own food before. That’s about to change!

The photo below? That’s a fresh egg haul I got from a local farmer—$5 for a dozen, can’t beat that with today’s prices! 🥚 And if you didn’t know, fresh eggs don’t need to be refrigerated! Now you know.

And in the background? All the fruits and veggies I need to plant ASAP! So trust me, questions are coming—I need all the help I can get!
